We are seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in installing and maintaining swimming pool equipment, plumbing, and liners. The candidate should have prior lead technician or supervisor experience. Our business started in 2015 and continues to grow each year. Responsibilities:
- Equipment Installation: Install, repair, and maintain swimming pool equipment, including but not limited to pumps, filters, heaters, and automated control systems.
- Liner Installation and Repair: Possess expertise in installing and repairing pool liners, ensuring a proper fit and addressing any issues related to leaks or wear and tear.
- Tile Installation and Repair: Conduct the installation and repair of pool tiles, maintaining a visually appealing and structurally sound pool environment.
- General Repairs: Address and resolve various issues related to pool components, including leaks, cracks, and malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Supervise and manage large renovation jobs including concrete pavers, patios, and re-plastering of pools.
- Customer Communication: Interact with clients to assess their pool service needs, provide recommendations, and address any concerns or questions regarding pool maintenance and repairs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs performed, and any recommendations for future maintenance. Provide detailed reports to clients as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in swimming pool service and maintenance, with a focus on equipment installation, liner and tile work, repairs, chemical maintenance, and pool cleaning.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using tools and equipment related to swimming pool service and repairs. Knowledge of pool chemistry and water treatment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and address their needs.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years, with a clean driving record.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in pool maintenance or related fields are a plus.
